Genuine Club is always been labeled as motor activity orientated club. Therefore we take a several steps to reduce that perception and want to make Genuine Club a more multipurpose club which can hold various kinds of activities.

A football match was organized at Sony Recreational Field on 16 to 17 February 2008, namely 9 Sides Football Competition. This competition is organized fully by Kilang Rantai and Genuine Club.

9 Sides Football competitions were divided into two categories, for under 20 years and Open match. 47 clubs had participated in this competition. Competition of below 20 years was held on Saturday, 16 February 2008 and Open Match Category was held on Sunday, 17 February 2008.

Prize for winners was give out by Mr. Paul Lee, Production Manager Kilang Rantai SA in terms of cash and cup.
